I am deeply committed to the intersections of truth and reconciliation, trauma-informed practice, anti-racism, and learning in relationship with the land. I have worked for over twenty years as an educator, facilitator, and consultant in community development and education. I am always learning and un-learning, and I love working with teams who are doing the same.

I lead an independent consultancy where I help organizations and leaders create trauma-informed internal systems, organizational processes and educational experiences in service of reconciliation and Indigenous sovereignty. I’m currently pursing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Victoria where my research explores trauma-informed community-based approaches to Truth and Reconciliation. I also work as a Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Specialist at Vancouver Island University.

My mother is from France, my father is from England, I was raised near Kichi Zibi, the Great River, on unceded Algonquin Anishinaabeg territory near Ottawa. I’ve lived in Coast Salish territories for fourteen years, and currently live with my family in Quw’utsun territories on Vancouver Island. I speak English, French and Spanish and use the pronouns she | elle | ella.

In addition to my Masters of Education in Adult Education and Community Development from the University of Toronto, I have also trained as a Life-Cycle Celebrant, birth doula and yoga teacher. I love the ocean, reading poetry, cedar and sunshine.
